This unit sucked

Overall rating:

I was looking forward to taking this unit because I expected it to be about design patterns in software. Instead, it is completely watered down and barely scratches the surface of the topics it covers. This unit should be changed to be a software engineering major unit and completely revamped to actually cover implementations of design patterns in code. It's really dumb that they force IT students to do this and then water it down to the point of being useless. Lectures were useless, the tutorials were basically already done for you, and the assignments were pure ass. As it is right now, the unit is just a worse version of Systems Analysis and Modeling.
